A movement for Ohio's students, parents, and schools.
Parents in Motion was built in response to what Ohio educators, families, and lawmakers have documented for years — most recently in the 2026 Ohio Pupil Transportation Workgroup report: too many students still can't get to the school they're eligible to attend. We partner with districts and community leaders to help close that gap.
Our mission
Give every Ohio school and district a district-governed, community-driven transportation option — so no student is left without a ride to their school of choice.
Why Ohio
In 2025–26, over 22,000 Ohio students were deemed impractical to transport, and districts filled less than 15% of open bus driver positions on average. Ohio's families need more options now — and Ohio is where we're starting.
What we stand for
District-governed
Your district sets who can drive and who can ride. We provide the platform — you keep the controls.
Community powered
Neighbors helping neighbors, coordinated with the school — the model Ohio families already use, made accountable.
Built for Ohio districts
Administrator dashboards and reporting shaped by the recommendations of the Ohio Pupil Transportation Workgroup.
